Singer/songwriter Erin Ivey Live Session

Ways To Subscribe

Austin singer/songwriter Erin Ivey has been called "the darling" of the Austin, Texas music scene.  Over the last decade, she carved out a sizable niche in an extremely crowded music town armed with a tender crystalline voice and award-winning songcraft.

The Austin Chronicle claims “Ivey’s adventurousness stands out in a town saturated with singer-songwriters.” Her latest solo release, Dreamy Weather, is an intimate performance recorded live at Austin's famous Cactus Cafe'. Her previous album, 2011's Broken Gold, was a fan-funded, critically-acclaimed collaboration with R&B/dub trio The Finest Kind that broke Top 10 lists of nearly all local outlets. Think Eva Cassidy, Jeff Buckley, and Mazzy Star and you’ll be in the right constellation.

As FM Network Program Director and Music Director, Eric oversees many aspects of JPR's broadcast day. He still hosts the occasional Open Air or classical music shift, and is the driving force behind JPR Live Sessions - our popular series of live in-studio music performances and conversations.
