KrisAnne Hall is in Oregon this week, speaking about the U.S Constitution. Hall is the latest activist to address a group in the region since the armed occupation of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge.
Hall spoke to an audience of about 170 in Prineville on Monday. Her message focused on the parts of the U.S. Constitution that emphasize states’ rights, rather than federal rights.
"Do you think we have an out of control federal government?" Hall asked. The crowd murmured "yes" in response.
Hall encouraged the audience to stand up for states’ rights.
"I have come here to infuse you with the courage to make this stand," Hall said.
This is the second time Hall has visited Oregon this year. She’s the latest of a number of nationally known anti-federal speakers who have flocked to Oregon since the occupation of the Malheur Refuge. Past visitors included conservative radio host Gavin Seim and the self-described “Constitutional Sheriff” Richard Mack.
