Sewing Camp: Monday – Thursday, 1:00 – 4:00 $135 plus materials Early bird Registration by May 19 $125 plus materials Ages 6-14 2017 Summer Sessions (all camps are from 1:00 – 4:00): July 17-20 Level I Students will complete five projects during this four-day camp. Level 1 beginning sewers will learn how to thread the machine, wind the bobbin and sew straight stitches, zigzag, backstitch, turns and curves. The class will also cover sewing techniques and vocabulary including seam allowances, grain lines, pinning, and pressing. Students will also learn how to read and understand sewing instructions. Camp includes snacks and water. Materials list will be provided at class registration. Level 2 is for students that have completed Level I Sewing or have similar experience. Students will learn to cut out and follow pattern instructions by sewing their choice of pajama bottoms or a nightgown. Students will also learn appliqué by making a stuffed owl pillow. Materials list will be provided at class registration.
