A Step Between: ResolutionCare

We're well acquainted with the terms "intensive care" and "hospice." 

But there's another term that could easily be placed between them: palliative care. 

That's the process of making people comfortable as they approach the end of life, but they are not quite ready for hospice. 

Eureka physician Dr. Michael Fratkin created ResolutionCare to improve palliative care offerings. 

A crowdfunding campaign to help boost the new effort ends this week (and it will reach the goal, he announced on air).

Approaching The End With COHO
