On Friday, August 7th at 2pm, JPR welcomes singer/songwriter Aoife O'Donovan into the studios for a live session on both Open Air and Siskiyou Music Hall.

Beginning July 31st, JPR will once again host the Pre-Concert Conversations at the Britt Classical Festival. Prior to each concert, there are informal talks in Britt's new Performance Garden beginning at 7pm for those who want to learn a little more about the music and composers.

Great things are expected out of the Britt Classical Festival in Jacksonville this summer. 

Summer 2014 was a smash under first-year conductor Teddy Abrams, and he is back for a second year at the podium. 

Britt announces the classical offerings Thursday night, and we might be able to pry a few details out of Teddy Abrams ahead of time.

With a name like Storm Large, can you have anything but a big personality? 

She's probably been asked that before, so we'll have to come up with a few more questions. 

Storm Large is the Portland-based singer/writer/entertainer with a big following. 

She'll perform Kurt Weill's "The Seven Deadly Sins" at the Britt Classical Festival in Jacksonville tonight (August 15).

On Saturday, May 17th at Played in Oregon will feature a performance of the Symphony No.5 of Dmitri Shostakovich recorded last August at the Britt Festivals in Jacksonville under the direction of then Music Director candidate (and now Music Director) Teddy Abrams.

Played in Oregon, with host Brandi Parisi, celebrates the music and music makers of the live classical music scene in Oregon. The one-hour weekly program airs every Saturday afternoon at 2pm, following the conclusion of our weekly opera broadcast.

Just in case you aren’t familiar with Béla Fleck, there are many who say he’s the premiere banjo player in the world. Others claim that Béla has virtually reinvented the image and the sound of the banjo through a remarkable performing and recording career that has taken him all over the musical map and on a range of solo projects and collaborations.

The third annual Rising Stars competition will continue live competition rounds at South Stage Cellars tasting room in Jacksonville each Saturday in February.

Britt Festivals' 2014 classical festival will strike out in new and adventurous directions under new Music Director Teddy Abrams, with guests soloists including banjo virtuoso Bela Fleck, and a complete performance of Mahler's massive Symphony Number 1.

Britt Festivals today announced that Teddy Abrams has been selected as the new Music Director and Conductor of the Classical Festival in Jacksonville, Oregon.

The Matt Hill Band formed just a couple of months before they decided to enter the 2013 South State Cellars/Britt Festivals Rising Stars Competition - a talent showcase designed as a fundraiser for La Clinica. The Grants Pass band ended up winning the contest, which included a half-hour live session on JPR.​
