The Teacher Behind The Success of "Drama High"

A high school theater in economically depressed Levittown, Pennsylvania cranked out highly polished hits, and careers in theater for some of its participants, under the direction of Lou Volpe.
Volpe and his work and his students are the focus of Michael Sokolove's book Drama High: The Incredible True Story of a Brilliant Teacher, a Struggling Town, and the Magic of Theater.
