Suing The Feds Over Wood Smoke Regulation

Too much wood smoke is bad for you. 

That's well established by research, and so the federal Environmental Protection Agency regulates the particulate matter that makes up wood smoke.  But now the state of Oregon is suing the EPA, saying it has ignored its own deadlines for reviewing and revising wood stove pollution standards. 

Lane Regional Air Protection Agency is one of several local entities that monitor and regulate wood burning.
