Service Alert for Classics & News in Shasta County

Mar 6, 2017

Updated 3/21/2017 | 8:00 am -- Our engineer has ordered equipment that will improve the signal until complete repairs are made.

Updated 3/16/2017 | 5:00 pm -- Service continues to be impaired. The antennae and some cables were damaged by ice, and although our engineer is working on an interim solution, complete repairs cannot be made to the antennae until the ice melts off. The damage is causing a lower power signal that is vulnerable to some co-channel interference. Once weather has warmed more and the ice has melted away our engineer will work on the repairs.

In the meantime you can hear any of our three services using our listen live feature at the top of the page.
