Religion In Poetry With Mary Szybist

lclark.edu

It can be tricky writing about religion in the best of circumstances; people tend to have strongly-held beliefs.

Think of how much trickier it is to write about religion through poetry.

Mary Szybistnot only did it, she won the National Book Award for poetry last year, for Incarnadine

She brings her talents to Ashland tonight (October 23) for an appearance sponsored by the Chautauqua group.

She visits our studio with her story.
