Oregonians Cope With Government Shutdown

After hearing for months that a partial federal shutdown was possible, it became a reality on October 1st.

Oregonians felt the effects almost immediately when federal employees received smaller paychecks just days after the shutdown was announced.

In addition to furloughed workers, the shutdown has affected several other aspects of some Oregonians' lives:
