Oregon Rank In Education Falls

Peggy Carr at the National Center for Education Statistics explains the many numbers available.

A recent report from a national group should give Oregon educators pause.

The report shows the state ranking 40th in student achievement, which is not welcome news.   California came in 33rd in the same list.

And some analysts point out that the use of different sets of numbers could have made the rankings even worse. 

A rep from the National Center for Education Statistics joins us to explain the findings... and how they might be used.
