This season at Mt. Ashland Ski Area is already longer than last winter's.
Lack of snow last year made it impossible for the resort to ever open the slopes.
And it's not like there's been a huge amount of snow so far… but enough to allow a limited opening (two of four lifts) on December 19th.
We visit with the ski area's marketing manager about strategies and snow.
