Elephant Revival Live Session

Ways To Subscribe

Elephant Revival is a band that’s gaining national recognition for their innovative and eclectic approach to acoustic music. They’re a young group who’ve developed their own genre-jumping style that’s been called “Transcendental Folk.”

Elephant Revival's eclectic repertoire features a vast array of original material and a few carefully selected traditionals. Their new album, These Changing Skies, includes influences from Scottish/Celtic fiddle tunes, original folk pieces, traditional ballads, psychedelic country, indie rock, powerful reggae grooves, 40s/50s jazz standards and an occasional hip-hop beat amongst other styles.

Following the lead, but not the footsteps, of groups like Leftover Salmon and Yonder Mountain String Band (coincidentally from the same small Colorado town as Elephant Revival), the five-piece band has created a unique and appealing modern acoustic sound simultaneously soaked in all manner of tradition.
