It's tough enough to make a budget for ourselves.  Now imagine the complexity in producing a budget for an entire state government.

Ashland state representativePeter Buckley counts that among his tasks in the Oregon legislature.

Buckley is the house co-chair of the committee that preps the budget, which will be bigger again this year with the economic recovery continuing.

Rep. Buckley joins us with features of the $18.5 Billion budget he and his co-chair propose, and to discuss the differences between the legislative proposal and the governor's.
