Cold Temperatures, Ice, Snow Return to Oregon

It's going to start feeling a lot like winter again throughout the state over the weekend, with numerous warnings and advisories in effect, .

In much of the Willamette Valley, there's expected to be rain, rain and more rain with highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s.

In the Columbia River Gorge and upper Hood River Valley, there's a chance of freezing rain through Friday evening.

A north Pacific storm is headed to eastern Oregon, bringing snow, freezing rain and strong winds. The area has already had to shut down some major roads due to accidents. A winter weather advisory is in effect through Saturday morning.

Snow is coming to Central Oregon with a winter storm moving through the region, bringing mixed precipitation. There's a winter weather advisory in effect until Saturday morning, with 4 to 8 inches of snow expected in the area. This is great news for skiers and snowboarders of course — Mt. Bachelor announced that it will be open for business starting Monday.

Strong winds are expected in Klamath and Lake counties through Saturday.

High winds are also predicted for the Oregon Coast. A high wind warning is in effect from Astoria to Brookings, and there's rain on the way.
