2014 Program Lineup

Beginning in January, JPR made a number of changes to its three program service schedules.  In all, thirteen new shows were added to our schedules, including The Moth Radio Hour and American Routes

This American Life host Ira Glass. The show can now be heard Sundays at 10am on the Rhythm & News Service, and Sundays at 5pm on the News & Information Service.

Many popular programs returned to the airwaves like Radiolab, and Science Friday, and a number of existing programs moved to either new spots in the schedule, or in the case of Fresh Air and Q, a different schedule entirely.

Also, JPR's Classics & News Service and Rhythm & News Service can now be heard 24 hours a day, with Weekend Edition beginning at 5am every Saturday and Sunday.

The three new program schedules are shown in the photo gallery above.  You can click each one to enlarge it.

We welcome your comments and feedback.

As FM Network Program Director and Music Director, Eric oversees many aspects of JPR's broadcast day. He still hosts the occasional Open Air or classical music shift, and is the driving force behind JPR Live Sessions - our popular series of live in-studio music performances and conversations.
Recent threats to federal funding are challenging the way stations like JPR provide service to small communities in rural parts of the country.
