Rodney Gardiner began his career in Miami, Florida as a teenager. Under the guidance of his mentor, Teo Castellanos, he co-devised performance pieces that were performed in detention centers, group homes, shelters, drug rehab facilities, and almost anywhere they could find an audience. He is a member of Waterwell, a NYC theatre company with whom he has co-devised and performed in many productions. 

His career includes many voice-over credits, audio book narration, commercials and stages across the country. Currently he is a member of the acting company at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In seven seasons at OSF, he has played many roles, including Nathan Detroit (Guys and Dolls), The Dromios (Comedy of Errors), Feste (Twelfth Night), and Tinman (The WIz).
