Originally from Paris IL, Paula began volunteering at JPR in 2006 as a commentator on the Jefferson Daily while living in Klamath Falls. She now serves as a columnist for JPR's magazine, the Jefferson Journal. As a western transplant, first in Arizona, then Utah and now happily rooted in Southern Oregon, she finds the wild nature of the west evocative of a lifestyle she dreamed of as a child. Paula is currently working on her doctorate degree in Transformative Studies and developing a lifestyle philosophy and practice that she terms, Beautiosophy, The Practice of Living Beauty. She lives with her family and mini-dachshund, Copper, in Jacksonville, OR - surrounded by the wine lands of Southern Oregon.
