Lily Tanner

Intern, JPR Redding

Lily is a Redding native and is currently entering her third year at UC Davis. She's an American Studies major, which means that most of her term papers are written about television shows. When not watching Netflix and claiming that it's homework, Lily is a peer adviser for her department, performs stand-up comedy, and works for the Whole Earth Festival.

In 2014, Lily spent a month in Blue Lake, California studying at the Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre and was amazed to see the positive influence of the school on the Blue Lake community. While interning at the Redding studios of JPR, Lily hopes to explore the similar connection between the station and its service area.

All post offices, except for one, that were closed due to the fires burning in Northern California have been reopened.

This privately managed site that contracts with the USPS to provide mail service is still cut off by the July Complex Fires.
