Choreographed ballroom dancing uses traditional ballroom music, rhythms, and dance figures with a cuer, who announces the sequence of figures to be danced (the choreography) with appropriate timing for the music. No prior dance experience is required for the beginning level class. Couples, singles, and LGBTQ+ are welcome. The beginning class runs every Sunday from 6:00 to 7:30 pm; the intermediate class follows from 7:30 to 9:00 pm. Free classes start September 18th and 25th; thereafter, the suggested donation is $6.00 per person for the evening. For more information, contact class coordinators at 541-488-1518.
