Event Description

Stroll through North Mountain Park to learn more about the abundance of edible and medicinal plants found in the gardens and on the ethnobotanical trail. Explore traditional ethnobotanical lore as well as current trends and research regarding these plants. Learn how to identify and sustainably harvest useful plants. Different plants will be discussed on each walk. Bring a notebook and writing utensil if you wish to take notes. She has apprenticed with local herbalists and has taught many plant classes.
